Step 1, get a Satochip card.

To use your Satochip hardware wallet, download the Electrum Satochip client or one of its forks (EC, Litecoin…).

Step 2, download the Satochip client.

Plug your card wallet in a card reader and launch the Satochip client.

Step 3, plug it.

Follow the client wizard -> Name your wallet -> Select “Standard wallet” -> Select “Use a hardware device” -> Select “Satochip card” and choose whether or not you want to use the 2FA application (Android only).

Step 4, follow the wizard.

Follow the client wizard and insert your desired personal PIN code to secure the card.

Step 5, set up a PIN code.

Follow the client wizard and save your personal seed (in a password manager, a vault or written under your keyboard :) ).

Step 6, backup your seed.

Congratulations ! Take a beer and chill. You now have a fully functional and highly secured Satochip hardware wallet !
